Stories
This June 2025, caps were thrown into the air and diplomas were given for the last group of children who would graduate from TM school.
But behind every diploma is a story of resilience and perseverance. The pressures both teachers and students were under this year were overwhelming, yet all refused to give up.
The teachers invested themselves more and the children overcame instability, change of classrooms, and going online at certain times and they navigated the unfamiliar with grace.
A big shout to our admin team who had many challenges to overcome, from transportation to new locations, to finding alternatives to every project and resolving issues that arose with the change
The graduation day was joyful yet had a bittersweet taste. The students gathered to receive their diplomas, and we all got to celebrate their success.
For the smaller children, we partnered with heart for Lebanon to sing, dance and play.
For the older ones we went out to a park where we danced and had breakfast before the students walked proudly on the graduation stage to receive their diplomas believing that a bright future awaits them
The goodbyes were filled with sadness, but we look at the future and see we have equipped our kids well. We equipped them not only to pass a grade but to overcome obstacles and believe in themselves and in God who makes a way where there seems to be no way.
