AMAL’S STORY

Amal showed up at our door after someone encouraged her to reach out to us. Over the years, we’ve been known as a reliable and open-hearted ministry—so much so that mayors, heads of municipalities, and even the deputy governor have been referring people in need to us.

Amal comes from a family of beekeepers. Her family produces honey and sells it at the market. But when she arrived at our center and began sharing her story of displacement, she broke down in tears, saying she had lost everything.

As we encouraged her and prayed with her, she began to speak about honey again. That’s when we felt we could step in—not just with words, but with practical support. We asked if she could bring some of her honey to our center so we could help her sell it.

We started with 100 jars, knowing this simple step could help sustain four families in the immediate future.

When everything seems hopeless we sometimes cannot even see options in front of us. One of our missions is to help guide those through that dark space and open their eyes to what God can do and restore hope.
