He’s Never Late
Hussein is from the displaced families from the south living near our center in Zahle. He has an adult son with a disability who is unable to walk and requires special care.
Because of his son’s disability he needed specific items since they had been displaced. About two months ago, Hussein came to our center seeking help finding things he needed. Since then, we have been able to provide him with various forms of support. But he was still missing something.
One day, he asked if we could help him find a special bed for his son. He needed something specific to sleep due to his condition. I tried many ways to find one and contacted several people, but unfortunately, I was unable to locate a suitable bed.
Then last week, I received a phone call from someone who wanted to donate a bed to our center for anyone in need. I immediately contacted Hussein and invited him to come to the center to see it.
To our surprise, it was exactly the type of bed he had been looking for for his son.
His joy was beyond words. He was incredibly happy and grateful for what had happened. We were able to provide him with the bed, and when he came to collect it from the center, he also received medications for both him and his son.
This was a beautiful reminder that sometimes when a need seems impossible to meet the right help arrives at exactly the right time and we get to be a way that God works to get it from one person to another.
